those teenagers who sit in their rooms at night cry themselves to sleep were once children with light in their eyes and hope in their heart.
How wired is it that everyone looks forwards towards teenage life and has so many teenage dreams but when we actually get to live it the expectations versus reality really strikes us. Yesterday I was listening to Teenage Dreams – by Stephen Dawes and at that point, I know I need to write about it. Even though there are so many languages in this world and each person living know or understand at least one of them however never ask a teenager how life is going because no language can describe it as it’s all about feelings that are always left unheard. To be honest teenage period is the middle part where one goes from without knowing and understanding life to getting ready to deal with all of them at once. In childhood, we never really get the taste of what actually life is whereas in the teenage period where everything starts to make sense and we get to see the trailer and finally the legal life where life truly shows what life exactly is. When people say that surviving in teenage life is harder, it is because what you will do in that period truly plays a crucial role in your future. I have noticed and felt as well that the teenage period truly makes you feel all the worst feelings in this world from getting to see that except you everyone else is going great, surrounded by a good family, and going on trips where else on the other hand there is nothing but stress and wanting to do better not for yourself but for others.
To be honest teenage period shows a whole new perspective to us and this time is where people dream so much to achieve once they reach adulthood. Adolescent dreams are all about getting good marks, surviving high school, making new friends, creating a stronger bond with family, creating lifelong friends and memories, and just enjoying the vibe it gives to us. If you are a teenager and fighting to get your life together let me tell you to dream as much as you want and just enjoy the life of that period because trust me ahead it’s all a roller coaster that you never wanted to go on but you had to.
