Review: ‘I Will Find You’ American Series (2026)

I just watched one review on this series and went on to watch it. And while searching for this show, I got to know that it is actually based on a book, I Will Find You. So basically, this is a series about a man named David Burroughs, who is serving five years in prison for murdering his own son, Matthew Burroughs. Everyone believed that he was the killer. Until his sister-in-law, Rachel Mills, comes and shows a picture, and everything changes. And his son might be alive, and it’s time to reveal the truth.

First of all, as a reader of so many thriller books. The vibe I got while watching was literally like reading a book. Everything was spot on. Let’s start with the plot; it was interesting and fast-paced. The story legit sucks you in. The way everything moves and connects was amazing to watch. I definitely did get confused at some point but loved how it all flowed in the end. The storyline was different and highly unexpected. Even to guess who the main target was was fun.

The plot was in a wavy line, the best I could describe. We move from one side to another until we reach the conclusion. I think the author really tried to mislead the readers, and it definitely worked.

David was an amazing character who just wanted to reunite with his son. I have to say he was the biggest victim. Rachel was also an amazing character; it wouldn’t have happened if not for her. She was also the biggest victim.

Sarah’s character I found to be selfish. If she hadn’t been selfish, it would have turned out better. Unknowingly, she sucked everything in without knowing how things would turn out. Hayden, what an interesting character; the way he just became the hero and then we get to see the real him is mindblowing.

Did I guess the plot twist? No, absolutely not. Because I was so sucked up in the story and its flow. I legit finished this series in one day.

If you want something engaging to watch, I highly recommend it.
