Stand up for yourself!

Always, no matter how sacred you are, no matter how much you don’t want to face confrontation, stand up for yourself. I feel like that’s the most recent thing I have started doing. How we all think about others’ feelings and what they will think about us and all that we speak. However, why do we have to think about others when they don’t? It is never wrong to stand up for yourself because others do it, so why not you? Self-love and self-respect should always be the first priority, but the world tells us to keep it last. I don’t understand why the world wants us to be happy doing things for others while we sacrifice ours. I don’t feel like we should ever be called selfish for wanting things for ourselves. Aren’t we all living our own lives? Why do we have to spend it making others happy while degrading ourselves?

Even for the simplest things, never ever let anyone degrade you. It’s not about the talk but about self-respect. If you are allowing it the first time, it will happen every time. For me, I will always say put yourself first and then the world. It’s about self-respect that should always matter. And no matter how much the world says you have to stand for yourself. You come first, and then others always.

Stand up for yourself in every situation; you are not doing anything but speaking for yourself. Listen, never ever take disrespect; you have your own self-worth, and you deserve everything. Once you stand up for yourself and speak for yourself, then nothing in the world will ever let your light dim. You will realise that all that matters is you, and you should only think about yourself. Friendly reminder: it doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else if it makes you happy. You deserve everything, no matter how much the world tries to make you look cruel. Stand up for yourself and live the way you want.
