You know that one drama, which you can binge-watch without getting bored, this was the drama. I think hardly anybody said anything bad about this drama. I have to say this was my favourite drama of 2026 yet. The drama is set in 1999, where we meet three awkward yet hilarious people: Kim Jeon Bok, and her neighbours, Son Gyeong Un and Kang Ro Bin. The three gain supernatural power, and they meet Lee Un Jeong, a mysterious man who is similar to them. Now the four take the challenge to save their city from the lingering villains.
Let’s start with the plot, it’s freaking hilarious. I absolutely loved the balance between thriller and comedy. Nothing was too much, which made the drama more interesting and engaging. I loved the different kinds of superpowers they had. And how the buildup to the climax unfolded. The late 90s vibe made it more fascinating. There was no point in the drama where I was bored. I binged-watch it at once. Also, the plot is straightforward.
The male lead, Lee Un Jeong, is freaking attractive. A nerd who has a superpower to control everything but is hiding behind the specs and a rude nature. I loved how his character flowed in. At first, he was confused, but he gradually got involved and found his people.
Our female lead, Kim Jeon Bok. The girl can’t be serious about anything. I think that’s what stood out in her character. Her dressing style and everything about her were top-notch. I loved that she was ready to do anything without thinking of the consequences.
Son Gyeong Un and Kang Ro Bin both made the team of four perfect. Whenever both open their mouths, I can’t stop laughing. I absolutely loved their friendship. The three fools who get some of the powerful powers doing whatever they think is right were hilarious to watch. Lee Un Jeong was actually their father, training them.
I loved how imperfect they were shown as they were just ordinary people dealing with life, and suddenly they got the powers and had no idea what to do with them. The chemistry was there between the leads. Oh, I wished to see more of their romance, and it is coming from someone who doesn’t like romance plots in a thriller.
The villains were top-tier. I loved the contrast between them. The villains read to save themselves, and the wonderfools have no idea what to do. I loved the imperfect heroes trying to save the city, which made the drama more charming. The cinematography was top-notch. And the fighting scenes were amazing, with a hint of their comedy.
I highly recommend this drama. Kindly just watch it.
