My red flag is that I consistently want to do things and move ahead. And I will always feel like I am behind in the race. I want to learn to appreciate what I have achieved, which I tend to forget when I feel like I am behind in the line. Isn’t it funny we all are working really hard for this to end one day? This is the quote I read recently by Fyodor Dostoevsky. And the comments section was so positive that I had to write my points on it.
Years ago on this blog, I wrote that trying to find meaning in life and a purpose that makes you wake up and get to the grind. Life is a very funny thing; it makes you so desperate for things that you lose hope. And just then you will see the beads for the flower start appearing.
If we don’t do things in life that we are desperate for, then what is life? Struggling is the part of life, and it will play a huge role in success. I always give myself almost no credit for doing things in my life. I don’t know why I can’t at first remember how much I have achieved. I have to sit and then think that I have achieved things; I have done many amazing things in my life. And I will be doing more.
Sometimes we get so obsessed with running behind things we want desperately that we forget to appreciate what we have already accomplished. There is no concept of being behind the line. Everyone is on a parallel line that will never intersect. So how can your line be behind someone else’s? I am learning to take it slow, and I will achieve whatever I want in life, but slowly and steadily.
You are never behind anyone or their lines. Everyone is fighting their own race and their own line. Take a deep breath and steadily, one at a time, conquer the world.
