Void…

You know why a black hole is seen as a symbol of falling, just falling. When I see this kind of void in my life, I know I am in a black hole where I see nothing but myself screaming at me. I see how my life has been overturned by others, and there is nothing I can do. I hate being unable to feel anything and not able to see anything other than the black hole where I am stuck.

I don’t know why, but I have become numb to pain; it doesn’t hurt anymore, or maybe I am used to it. I don’t see my tears falling down, but I do feel my eyes getting wet. I feel like, instead of enjoying my life, I am stuck in a black hole, seeing nothing but my downfall. I guess being stuck is a void that we can’t avoid.

Let me tell you how I deal with it. With just time, let it flow. I think of it as an imagination that will go away once I open my eyes and breathe. But I know it’s there, and sometimes it gets to be so much that I just survive instead of living. But I know I have to get better for myself, and I will. I need time and space to get better, to see how wonderful things are, and I am an amazing person.

Some things in life are unavoidable; they throw you into an inescapable void. And I know I have been in that void for some time, and I am living my life but surviving the black hole. So let me remind you: the black hole might not let you see the amazing future you have, but trust me when I say the paintbrush isn’t too far away for you to paint your life colourful again.

Note: After editing and re-reading the post, I felt like I kind of made it look like I wrote a poem. I am happy about it!
